How to Debadge Your Car

An informed car owner is a good car owner, which makes it all the more important to know a few basic things about the maintenance of your automobile. For instance, one useful skill to have is to know how to debadge your car without creating long-term damage to the car's body. This means to take the imprinted logo plate off of it along with any residue left behind when it goes.

First, find out how the badge stays stuck to the car. If it has adhesive, soften it with hot water before using adhesive remover. However, if the plate has screws or clips attaching it to the car, remove them with a drill or pliers.

If you prefer to have someone do this for you, then come down to see us at Honda of Frontenac as soon as possible so a member of our team can get working on it.
