Honda Introduces Updated Civic Natural Gas

The streets of St Louis, MO may get a Honda Civic CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) vehicle by next year - along with many other destinations. Honda of Frontenac could be a dealer of natural gas powered rides too.

 

So, what's new on 2012's Civic CNG / NG ? Bluetooth is standard, and there's also power-everything, digital displays, and a strong engine. The Honda Civic Natural Gas will allow drivers to receive 27 MPG city, 30 hwy. "It's a much cleaner burning engine," according to Honda's Jay Guzowski. Starting price comes in at $26,155 for a base model.1

 

Fuel availability is an issue, though many places across the US already offer CNG pumps, with more to come. In fact, 36 states will receive Natural Gas Honda vehicles on their lots soon. Honda is the only major auto maker offering this kind of car, and we are excited that they plan on bringing more to the world.
